Raising Sheep Responsibly Since 2020
Nestled on 47 acres in the heart of Central Texas, Comiskey Ranch is built on a foundation of family, tradition, and a deep-rooted pride in Texas culture. What began as a dream shared by two people and five Dorper sheep has flourished into a thriving ranch with over 50 sheep, three dedicated livestock guardian dogs, three hardworking ranch cats, and an exciting expansion with chickens arriving in spring 2025. Every inch of the ranch reflects the hard work and dedication of the Comiskey family, who pour their time and passion into raising high-quality livestock.
From the rolling pastures to the hands-on care each animal receives, Comiskey Ranch is more than just a business—it’s a legacy of resilience, community, and the unwavering spirit of Texas ranching.

Our Story
Local Family Ranch
Comiskey Ranch was founded in 2020 when Ben and Delia Comiskey decided to leave the hustle and bustle of North Texas for the open spaces of Central Texas. As native Texans with a deep appreciation for ranch life, they saw an opportunity to build something meaningful—a family-operated ranch focused on quality Dorper sheep breeding. What started with just five sheep has grown into a thriving operation, with over 50 Dorper sheep, dedicated livestock guardian dogs, ranch cats, and an upcoming addition of chickens in spring 2025.
The ranch is truly a family affair, with their children, grandchildren, and extended family all pitching in to care for the land and animals. Rooted in tradition and built with hard work and passion, Comiskey Ranch is a testament to the strength of family and the spirit of Texas ranching.
